Rhythm Sessions 001Nick began his career playing drums in the electronic dance band Hadouken, where he spent seven years touring worldwide and recording on three top 20 albums for Atlantic Records and Ministy of Sound. He then went on to tour as a session musician, playing drums for artists including Nadine Shah, Leftfield and The Midnight Beast, where he continued to innovate at the intersection of live percussion and electronic dance music. Based in his South London studio, Nick now records as a solo artist, whilst also composing and producing bespoke music for television, short films and branded content.

The Rhythm Sessions 001 EP features percussive elements as the focal point of every track. Nick Rice has worked hard on evolving hooks and leads for those instruments, bringing them to the foreground and keeping each track engaging and powerful even though they’re sparse when it comes to other musical content.
