Born amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia, North Wales, Gwenno Morgan draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, infusing her compositions with a touch of ethereal magic. With a strong foundation in classical piano performance from the University of Leeds and an exploration of jazz at the University of North Texas, she seamlessly blends genres to create a unique musical tapestry. Gwenno’s musical journey led her to pursue a Master’s in creative composition at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she further honed her craft. She recently showcased her scoring abilities in the upcoming feature film ‘Dystopia,’ a collaboration with Spanish filmmaker Samuel Sebastian.

In her captivating music, Gwenno fuses classical elements with minimalist influences and cinematic soundscapes. Her EP ‘MurMur’ takes listeners on a mesmerising voyage through four enchanting piano-centric tracks. Playful, hopeful, nostalgic, and evocative, each composition transports you to a different fantasy realm, drawing inspiration from film scores and contemporary pianists/artists. Through her music, Gwenno ignites a sense of wanderlust, echoing her own deep connection to exploration and discovery.
